We all have a story, but we don’t all know how to tell it. Mariam believes that sharing our experiences, and telling the story of us, is an act of audacious service. When we speak about what we have been through and tell others the things we know, we share wisdom, normalize a journey which others can relate to, and build community amongst our peers. But self-doubt can sometimes make us question ourselves. Is it too self-promotional to stand on a podium and speak? Does the fear of perception limit and silence us? Mariam teaches her audience the value of speaking and sharing for good. And her intuitive approach speaks to the importance of ensuring that storytelling is met with dignity. Mariam coaches journalists, brands, and strategists in the art of authentic, responsible, and empathetic listening; and humanizes the way that media tells stories.
